Born in Tucson, Arizona, Canción Franklin — his first name is Spanish for “song” — found his path at sixteen, when a compilation of thirty years of Chicago blues rewired everything. He describes his music simply: “it’s about how things are pretty even when they are hard.”
He brings deep grooves of American roots, country, soul, and rock & roll to every performance — solo, as a hired gun, or with a full band — with raw guitar leads and a vulnerable, commanding presence.
His solo record on Last Hope Recording Co. arrives summer 2026. First single “Twelve Tristezas” — out July 17.
